Cook Time: 30 mins.

Makes 8 servings.

1 1/4 lbs. of string beans with the stem end snapped off and cleaned
2 tablespoons of margarine
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon vinegar - apple or raspberry
2 tablespoons Sorrell Ridge Strawberry
Salt to taste

1. To cook your string beans add a handful of beans at a time into a large pot of boiling water without completely breaking the rapid boil between each handful. The beans will turn a beautiful bright green. Boil for about 10 minutes so that they are still firm and have retained their pretty green color. Drain and spray with cold water to stop the cooking process. Hold aside until needed.

2. In a large skillet pan on the stove melt the margarine and then sauté the chopped onions until they are soft and clear.

3. Reduce the heat to low and add all other ingredients except the beans. Now add your beans into the flavored margarine and onions and toss to completely coat the beans as well as warm them up again. While still on a low heat, use small amounts of water to keep the beans from burning while you re-warm them - if necessary. When the beans are nice and hot again remove them from the heat and serve immediately. Toss with toasted sliced almonds if you want.
