Sorrell Ridge Fruit-Flavored Butter or Margarine

1/4 cup of Sorrell Ridge of your choice
1 cup of softened butter or margarine

Servings Information
Serves about 12 people at a brunch or may be kept chilled in the fridge for 2 or 3 days and used at your convenience.

Preparation Time:
The time it takes for your butter or margarine to soften and then 5 minutes to mix!

1. All you have to do is blend the Sorrell Ridge into the softened butter or margarine by hand. If you want to get fancy you may put the flavored spread into butter molds before chilling. Another attractive presentation is to let the flavored butter or margarine begin to chill in the fridge and when it is firm enough, use a melon ball maker to form little balls and then finish chilling. You may also simply make one large ball and serve in an extra pretty little dish. For a special brunch you may want to make two or three different flavors. This looks beautiful, is an unusual touch and tastes fantastic. Try a pat on a hot pancake! It may not be a low calorie recipe but you only need a tiny bit to add a touch of elegance to a standard breakfast or brunch. It goes with all my teabreads, muffin and biscuit recipes.

2. Of course, keep your unused portions in the fridge just like plain butter. A nice idea would be to make your flavored butters the day before overnight quests are due so that you may serve it to them with their breakfast. They will remember the extra touch!
