Prep. Time: 10 min.

Cook Time: 15 - 18 min.

Preheat oven: 300 degrees


Makes 12 servings.

1 cup sifted cake flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 t ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup Plantation Molasses

1. Sift together first four ingredients.

2. Heat molasses just to boiling point in saucepan large enough for mixing cookies; remove from heat.

3. Add butter or margarine, stir until melted.

4. Slowly stir in flour mixture. Mix well.

5. Drop 1/2 teaspoonful dough at a time onto greased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.

6. Bake 15 to 18 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool 2 minutes.
